LG QHD Productivity Monitor
LG 27U631A-B 27-inch QHD IPS USB-C Monitor
Enjoy sharp QHD visuals, smooth 100Hz performance and convenient USB-C connectivity in a sleek monitor designed for work, study and everyday entertainment.
Product Overview
The LG 27U631A-B is a 27-inch QHD IPS monitor designed for users who want a spacious, detailed display for everyday productivity. Its 2560 × 1440 resolution offers more workspace than Full HD, helping you organise documents, spreadsheets, browser windows and creative applications more comfortably.
The IPS panel provides wide viewing angles and typical sRGB coverage of 99% for vibrant everyday visuals. A 100Hz refresh rate makes scrolling, desktop navigation and compatible games appear smoother than on a standard 60Hz display. USB-C connectivity supports video and up to 15W of power delivery through one compatible cable, helping simplify laptop desk setups.
Key Features
QHD IPS Display
The 2560 × 1440 resolution delivers detailed images and additional screen workspace. IPS technology maintains consistent-looking colours across wide viewing angles.
Smooth 100Hz Refresh Rate
A refresh rate of up to 100Hz offers smoother scrolling, cursor movement and motion in supported games compared with conventional 60Hz monitors.
USB-C Connectivity
Connect a compatible laptop through USB-C for video and up to 15W power delivery. The USB-C cable is sold separately according to LG's product information.
99% Typical sRGB
The specified sRGB colour coverage supports vibrant everyday content, web graphics, office work and general creative tasks. Professional colour-critical workflows may require a calibrated reference display.
HDR10 Support
HDR10 compatibility and LG HDR Effect provide additional viewing options for supported content. Actual HDR impact depends on the content and display capabilities.
Visual Comfort Features
Reader Mode adjusts colour temperature and luminance, while Flicker Safe is designed to reduce screen flickering. These features can help tailor the viewing experience to different tasks.
More Room for Everyday Productivity
The QHD resolution gives you more usable workspace for spreadsheets, research, online meetings and multitasking. On a 27-inch screen, 2560 × 1440 provides a practical balance of detail and workspace for home offices, students and general-purpose desktop setups.
The three-side virtually borderless design creates a clean, modern appearance and can help make multi-monitor arrangements look more continuous. The stand supports tilt adjustment so you can position the display to suit your desk and viewing angle.
USB-C for a Cleaner Desk
USB-C supports video connectivity and up to 15W power delivery when connected to a compatible device. This can reduce cable clutter for laptop users, but the monitor is not a high-power laptop charger. Check your laptop's charging requirements before relying on USB-C power delivery.
The monitor also includes an HDMI input and a headphone output. LG's published specifications list one HDMI port, one USB-C connection and a three-pole headphone output. A USB-C cable is not included according to the product page; check the box contents for your specific retail unit.
Customise Your Workspace with LG Switch
The LG Switch application helps customise how you use the screen. LG describes features including dividing the display into up to six sections, changing themes and launching supported video-call applications with mapped hotkeys. Software availability and functionality can depend on the computer and installed application version.
Gaming and Entertainment
Although designed primarily for everyday productivity, the 100Hz refresh rate can also provide smoother motion in compatible games. LG lists Dynamic Action Sync and Black Stabilizer among its gaming-oriented features. The 5ms GtG response time is specified in Faster mode, so this is an all-purpose monitor rather than a dedicated high-refresh-rate esports display.
